Coral reef rings, clay and leather ring designs

These are unfinished ring ideas, using polymer clay and leather in colourful shades, I love the texture combinations. The clay I have shaped into coral and sea life shapes, rounded, smooth and pitted, they give fascinating and intricate textures to the jewellery.

Combined with a soft piece of block colour leather, they will be lightweight and eye-catching.

Triangle envelopes

Made some black triangle envelopes for sending my earrings out in, and I love the results!

I used a template from Google, some card, and a stamp and gold ink for these beauties. I used double sided tape rather than glue and luckily have a strong brand, these have held up well to me opening and closing them, and decoration. They will be good for shipping my leather jewellery as they are lightweight but sturdy.
If you would like to try, here is the template I used, either print it out, or do as I did and tape tracing paper to your screen, you have to be creative with no printer!

Etsy banner making tutorial, using the free editing programme Gimp

Hello, spent some time making a quick etsy banner making tutorial for Gimp yesterday, a free image editing programme which I love, it is quite simple and hopefully easy to follow! I have included step by step instructions and highlighting, but if you have any questions please ask.

I think yours will look better than mine, :) , my real banner took a bit longer as I edited the text (maybe a future tutorial). Editing photos is great fun when you become more comfortable with the programmes you use, I find Gimp has many features that Photoshop has, but is free, so a great tool for a small business as they are finding their way.

The full pages are on my website, fushiagold.com, where you can save the images as jpegs.

Branding and business cards

I recently went through some branding and logo changes, created a new, more relevant and coherent look in my jewellery packaging, etsy banner and avatar , bought my web domain and created images for the pages there. Phew!

Thinking of ordering some new mini cards from Moo, their cards are great quality and can withstand being carried in my wallet for months, which is sadly a tough feat for all things paper, things always end up a bit ripped and frayed, but not these cards!
I love the novelty factor of the smaller size, and the images print beautifully.

Here are a few of my potential designs
